Overnight Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of at least four people, according to Lebanese state media. The strikes targeted an apartment in a residential building in the northern district of Saida, killing one individual and causing a fire, as reported by the National News Agency. Additionally, three people were killed in a strike in the village of al-Qatrani, as stated by Lebanon's health ministry. Since the onset of the conflict, Israeli strikes have reportedly killed 826 people in Lebanon, including 65 women and 106 children, with at least 2,009 others wounded. In a separate incident, Israeli air raids on the town of Nabi Chit in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley resulted in at least 12 fatalities and 33 injuries, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. The ongoing strikes are part of escalating cross-border fighting linked to the broader regional conflict. Lebanese officials have reported that over 200 people have died in Lebanon since the conflict began, and approximately 95,000 individuals have been displaced. The Israeli military has issued large-scale evacuation orders for parts of southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, leading to a mass exodus of civilians. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) estimate that more than 300,000 Lebanese civilians have evacuated their villages in southern Lebanon. The humanitarian situation is worsening, with reports indicating that the number of displaced civilians could be significantly higher than official estimates.
