The humanitarian crisis in Lebanon has significantly worsened, with over 850,000 people displaced due to ongoing conflict. In just 10 days, more than 800,000 individuals have been uprooted from their homes, following a previous conflict that displaced over a million Lebanese. Since the resurgence of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel on March 2, Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of 826 people, including 106 children and 65 women, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry. Recent Israeli air raids have intensified, with at least 12 people killed and 33 wounded in strikes on the town of Nabi Chit in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley. The Lebanese Health Ministry reports that more than 200 people have died in the country since the conflict began, while approximately 95,000 have been displaced. The Israeli military has issued large-scale evacuation orders for parts of southern Lebanon and Beirut’s southern suburbs, prompting a mass exodus of civilians from these areas. Further Israeli strikes have been reported across Beirut and southern Lebanon, with the Ministry of Health confirming six deaths in Beirut and another 11 in raids on southern and eastern regions. The strikes have also affected towns such as Al Aqibya in the Saida district and Qanarit. As the conflict enters its second week, the situation remains dire, with ongoing military operations and a rising death toll.
