Africa Must Achieve Health Sovereignty Before the Next Pandemic

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, the Africa Centres for Disease Control received external funding to enhance its capacity, promote local vaccine manufacturing, and establish genomic networks across Africa. To prepare for future pandemics, African governments must commit to supporting these initiatives.
