Catastrophic casting: Mount Vesuvius eruption victims feature in landmark Pompeii exhibition

A new permanent exhibition features casts of victims from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79, displayed together for the first time. The casts depict the residents in the positions in which they died, alongside everyday items that were buried under lava and ash for centuries.
