Central Africa: UAE and CEMAC - A Gradually Expanding Economic Partnership

The Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) has historically maintained close economic and diplomatic ties with partners including France, China, the United States, and the European Union. These relationships influence the region's external engagement in infrastructure, finance, and trade. However, shifts in the global political economy are leading to an expansion of emerging actors in Africa, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
