Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, then known as Prince Andrew, attempted to have convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a state visit to the UAE in November 2010. While serving as Britain's trade envoy, Andrew vouched for Epstein and communicated with him via email, stating that Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE's then foreign affairs minister, thought highly of Epstein and would like to make an introduction.
