A dispute has arisen in Malaysia's parliament over the use of the phrase "Alhamdulillah" by opposition MP Nga Kor Ming during a debate. Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, an MP from the opposition Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), challenged him on his repeated use of the phrase, which means "praise be to God," during his speech regarding the king's address for the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
