The Israeli Embassy in Tokyo refused to accept a statement from groups representing atomic bomb survivors that criticized the US and Israel’s war against Iran, as reported by Japan’s Kyodo news agency. The document was returned to the groups in Nagasaki Prefecture, with the post office stating the embassy “refuses to accept” it. Shigemitsu Tanaka, head of the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Survivors Council, remarked that the document was sent back without being read and expressed concern over the embassy's perceived close-mindedness.
