Senior executives at Drax raised internal concerns about the validity of the company's sustainability claims, according to court documents. This comes as Drax publicly denied allegations that it was cutting down primary forests to fuel the UK’s biggest power plant, amidst claims in a BBC Panorama documentary that it burned wood sourced from “old-growth” forests in Canada.
