The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen reported that 73 individuals, including women and children, were wounded due to Houthi attacks in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran. Renewed fighting in Yemen has resulted in over 300 fatalities among fighters and civilians since last week, with government officials claiming that 84 of their troops were killed over the weekend (Middle East Eye). In southern Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes on a residential building in Kfar Rumman resulted in the deaths of at least 11 people, including two infants, and left five others wounded. Additionally, Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Sunday led to the deaths of five Palestinians, including two children, with various attacks reported, including a drone strike and artillery shelling (Middle East Eye). Iran's acting defense minister Majid Ibn Reza refuted claims from Washington that Iran lacks the technical capability to target U.S. warships enforcing a naval blockade. He asserted that Iran possesses the necessary technology and warned of forthcoming results. Concurrently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) conducted strikes on U.S. infrastructure in Jordan and drone attacks targeting the UAE's Al Minhad Air Base, described as retaliation for prior U.S. attacks (Middle East Eye).
