Pluralism and the Modern Poet

In November 1907, William James, professor of philosophy at Harvard, received an invitation from Manchester College, now known as Harris Manchester and part of Oxford University. At that time, Manchester College was an autonomous dissenting institution with a strong Unitarian character, recently relocated from London.
