NASA-supported small spacecraft SNAPPY, designed by a university, launched at 12 a.m. PDT on Sunday. It was aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space. SNAPPY aims to study solar particles known as neutrinos that travel through the universe at near-light speeds.
