A study by researchers at TU Darmstadt has revealed that tiny droplets can navigate unknown environments, such as living cells, autonomously. These droplets do not require sensors, computers, or external control to detect obstacles from a distance and move through complex mazes. This ability is attributed to a mechanism called "chemical echolocation."
