Mars dust may be less abrasive than lunar dust, spacesuit samples suggest

NASA's Mars rover Perseverance is equipped with small swatches of spacesuit material, each less than a square inch in size. These swatches are being used to help scientists assess the potential damage caused by Martian dust, which may be less abrasive than lunar dust.
