Indoor Testing Facilities available at the NASA Unmanned Autonomy Research Complex (NUARC)

Indoor testing facilities are available at the NASA Unmanned Autonomy Research Complex (NUARC). The WindShaper, a large fan array, is designed for dynamic low-speed and hovering flight research, capable of generating arbitrary wind gradients and gusts through a Python API. Additionally, a WindProbe is available for quick flow surveys, utilizing the lab’s OptiTrack motion capture system.
