North Korea launched multiple ballistic missiles towards the sea on Sunday, according to South Korea’s military. The launches occurred around 7:50 am from North Korea’s capital region and the missiles flew approximately 900 km (560 miles). This event took place just hours before South Korea’s president was scheduled to leave for China for talks expected to address North Korea’s nuclear program. South Korea and US authorities are currently analyzing the details of the missile launches.
