Pet owners say smart pet feeder outage led to furry ones going unfed

A significant outage affecting Petlibro's smart pet feeders has led to reports of pets missing meals. The outage began on Tuesday, with users experiencing issues with their smart feeders, litter boxes, and water fountains going offline. Pet owners have expressed frustration and concern, stating that they have lost trust in the reliability of the devices. Many users rely on these smart feeders to dispense food and perform scheduled tasks, particularly when they are away from home. According to reports, while Petlibro claims that existing settings and schedules stored locally will continue to operate, numerous users have indicated that their RFID and Granary food dispensers are failing to execute scheduled feedings. This situation poses a significant problem for pet owners who depend on these devices to ensure their pets are fed on time. The inability of the feeders to dispense food as scheduled has raised alarms among pet owners, highlighting the potential risks associated with relying on smart technology for pet care. The outage has sparked a wave of complaints from users who feel let down by the service. Many pet owners have taken to social media and forums to share their experiences, emphasizing the impact of the outage on their pets' well-being. As the situation develops, it remains to be seen how Petlibro will address the concerns raised by its customers and restore confidence in its products.
