Measles resurges in the Boise area, prompts school exposure notices - Idaho Statesman

Measles has resurfaced in the Boise area, leading to exposure notices in schools. Health officials have warned that serious complications, including death, can occur from measles. The health district is concerned about low vaccination coverage, particularly after unvaccinated children with measles attended Vallivue Middle and High schools. Five measles cases have been reported in Canyon County, southwest Idaho.
