The 12th edition of Qumra is scheduled to take place from March 27 to April 1, 2026. The event combines a creative workshop with a co-production market, aiming to support and develop Arab filmmakers and their projects. The inclusion of such notable figures highlights the Doha Film Institute's commitment to fostering talent and creativity within the Arab film industry. The participation of established artists like Bernal, Luna, Diop, Bensaïdi, and Santaolalla is expected to provide valuable insights and guidance to emerging filmmakers attending the incubator.
