Your Fellow Americans: Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know

A Pew Research Center report indicates that more than half of Americans believe their fellow citizens are “morally bad.” Among the twenty-five countries surveyed, the U.S. had the lowest perception of its neighbors, while Canada had the highest, with only 8% of Canadians thinking their fellow citizens are bad.
