'Made in Europe' law should be limited to geographically close countries, leading MEP says

French liberal MEP Christophe Grudler, who will lead negotiations on a “Made in Europe” law in the European Parliament, stated that the European preference proposed by the European Commission to counter foreign competition in the EU market extends too many non-EU countries. He believes the law should be limited to geographically close countries.
