More than one-third of cancer cases are preventable

Nearly 40% of new cancer cases worldwide are potentially preventable, according to a study published in Nature by Flora Graham. The investigation analyzed dozens of cancer types across almost 200 countries and found that in 2022, approximately seven million cancer diagnoses were linked to modifiable risk factors.
